Young Regional Artist Scholarship - We Can Help!



Are you an aspiring artist or arts/cultural worker, between 18 and 25, and a resident of regional NSW? Then this opportunity might be for you…

The NSW Government offers Young Regional Artist Scholarships to support innovative young artists and arts and cultural workers from regional NSW to undertake a self-directed professional development program in their chosen field that will benefit their artistic practice and career.

The scholarships are open to artists and performers from all art forms, including dance, design, digital arts, history, Aboriginal arts, literature, music, theatre, screen and the visual arts.

Scholarship recipients will be awarded $10,000 and activities funded could include:

· mentorships or internships with recognised arts organisations
· residencies at institutions/organisations
· short-term courses, workshops or other training
· creation of new work
· periods of research and development
· skills development
· experimentation


Applications close: 27 June 2016 (5pm, AEST – Sydney time)
